How we started
Tulsa Auto Bridge began as a simple idea in a corner café in the heart of downtown Tulsa. A group of community advocates noticed that many of their neighbors weren’t enrolled in essential benefits programs like Oklahoma SNAP and SoonerCare. These programs could make a significant difference in their lives, but barriers prevented many from accessing them. Recognizing that transportation was a major obstacle, they envisioned a way to bridge this gap.
By harnessing the power of vehicle donations, Tulsa Auto Bridge was born. The innovative funding model allows us to provide a free research service while connecting residents to valuable resources. With every car donation, we’re able to support local families and ensure they gain access to crucial programs. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier Tulsa where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Our mission
At Tulsa Auto Bridge, our mission is to link neighbors with critical resources that improve their quality of life. We strive to identify eligible-but-unenrolled residents and facilitate their access to invaluable programs such as SoonerCare, TANF, WIC, and LIHEAP. By funding our benefits-research service through vehicle donations, we bring essential assistance right where it’s needed, empowering our community to flourish together.

Why this city
Tulsa is a vibrant city that boasts a rich tapestry of neighborhoods including Greenwood, Midtown, and North Tulsa. However, many residents face challenges accessing vital benefits programs due to lack of information or resources. With a diverse demographic of both urban and rural communities, we know there are significant enrollment gaps in programs like LIHEAP, WIC, and SoonerCare. Our goal is to close these gaps and enhance the well-being of Tulsa's residents, ensuring that everyone has the tools they need for a secure future.
